My name is Helen and I make photographs.​  

 

I am a photographic artist born and bred in Dun Laoghaire and currently based in Wicklow.   I started my photographic journey under the expert tuition of Joe Sterling and Christine Redmond in Sallynoggin College for Further Education in 2010.  Encouraged and mentored by them, I applied to IADT and began to study for my degree in 2011 graduating in 2015 with a First Class Honours.

My work combines my passion for the photograph, art and new media. Exploring the influence of technology and New Media on the photograph I continue my journey to explore where the photograph is currently placed within a modern digital and increasingly virtual word.
